A wonderful place isolated from touristic itineraries. The sand of the Kalahari are spotted with pans. They fill up during the rainy season and attract thousands of birds from the Kavango delta.
Due to massive privatisation of territory, most of the Bushmen were unable to keep their ancestral way of life. Certain communities organize hiking trails (bird watching, animal observation, traditional use of plants for medecin, food …) .

The development of this touristic activity encourages the new generation to take interest in their traditional culture.

Here we find a very rich flora and fauna quite different from that found in other Namibian National Parks (Wild dogs, elephants…), this park is scarcely frequented by tourists.
