Description

Location :

Sandune Game Lodge is in the heart of the Kalahari on the road between Botswana and Namibia, located between Gobabis and the border.
This guest farm houses many members of the community San / Bushman, highlighted by the famous film “The Gods Must be Crazy” and organizes activities like cultural visit or walking tour. The property of 4600 hectares has a thousand animals and over 13 different animal species (cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, kudu, wildebeest, oryx, pork-epic, anteater etc… and many birds).

Lodging near the waterhole (located 8 km from the guesthouse): the safari tent is overlooking the waterhole where many wild animals come to drink.

Possibility to stay in “Sandune Safari villa’, overlooking the bush, ideal for honeymoon couples looking for privacy and tranquility.

Activities :

  • 2 game drives per day (including one nocturnal)
  • Walking tour, with Bushmen who teach you how to recognize the tracks left by animals and how to utilize plants in their traditional medicine.
  • Bushmen village and its craft shop, traditional dances
