Built in 1996 it is situated in a quiet residential part of the town overlooking the bay and harbour of Lüderitz.

In 1998 and 1999 the SEA-VIEW was classified as a top tourist product of Namibia and received the Golden Palm Awards. The latest achievements are in the HAN certificate of excellence for the Best Country Hotel in 1999, 2000 and 2001.

An indoor solar heated swimming pool and sauna invites you to relax in comfort and style after a long days travelling. The famous a-la-carte restaurant specialising in seafood and friendly service invites you to a candle light dinner.

Accomodation available:

All 22 rooms are tastefully furnished with en-suite bathrooms and all the comfort a visitor needs: TV, direct dial telephone, hair dryer, tea and coffee making facilities.

From the lounge the traveller can experience a breathtaking sunset, while enjoying a sundowner in the hotel bar.

Activities

Trips are arranged to all the fascinating sight seeing destinations in and around Lüderitz:
Kolmanskop – at one time the centre of Namibia’s thriving diamond industry, today a ghost town is gradually being swallowed by the sands of the Namib. Bogenfels – a spectacular 55m high rock arch jutting into the Atlantic ocean, and on the way the old German diamond digging towns of Pomona, Idatal and Märchental (must be booked well in advance) Dias Cross – a replica of the original cross planted by the Portuguese seafarer Bartolomeu Dias in July 1488 at Dias point. Felsenkirche – Church on the rock – built in 1906 and renowned for its beautiful stained glass windows. The Lüderitz museum – a jewel of the past and a must for every visitor. Bird watching at the lagoon, where large numbers of marine birds can be seen, including penguins and flamingos. Sedina Boat Trip – a daily boat trip (weather permitting) to Halifax Island, the home of the Jackass penguin.
