It is of particular interest for :<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list_ok\">\n<li>its history (bushman paintings and hand gravings)<\/li>\n<li>the beauty and variety of its landscapes<\/li>\n<li>its wild flora and fauna (desert, elephants, black rhinos&#8230;)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The geology<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"list_ok\">\n<li>impressive red granite plateaux,<\/li>\n<li>river beds with elephants,<\/li>\n<li>basalt landscape,<\/li>\n<li>granite inselberg (Brandberg, Spitzkoppe)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Damara people are herders and are disseminated throughout the territory.<br \/>\nDue to the low density of the population in this region and the respect its inhabitants have for the environment the Damaraland is a truly &#8220;non official&#8221; reserve.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fauna<br \/>\n<\/strong>Along the way you might meet : giraffes, oryx, springboks or hartmann moutain zebras.
